RADICAL REMISSION

Recently, when my beloved daughter Paula Andrea was in Colombia, she was recommended a book called Radical Remission, which tells the story of several patients diagnosed with cancer, many of them in a terminal state who were sent home or to a hospice, and against all odds, managed to heal themselves through alternative methods to traditional medicine.

Its author Kelly A Turner, a graduate of Harvard University and a Doctor of Science from the University of California at Berkeley, researcher and psychotherapist specializing in integrative oncology, after traveling to several countries and interviewing these survivors, shares the key factors that these people had in common to reverse their disease.

Among these factors are changing diet and lifestyle, taking herbs and supplements to strengthen the immune system, letting go of negative emotions and increasing positive ones, and deepening spiritual connection, among others.

At the time of writing this blog, it's been two and a half years since I had a mammogram that showed an abnormality in my left breast, and then the biopsy that confirmed breast cancer. Although I have had very difficult moments, it has also been one of the happiest stages of my life, in which by the grace of God, I have been able to travel, change my lifestyle, heal my wounded heart, get married and feel very loved and valued by God and by all the people around me.

So, if it were up to me, I wouldn't have any medical or check-up exams, but after a strong and loving scolding from my beloved son José Daniel, I decided to travel to Colombia to see Dr. Calderón. A doctor in Villeta, who has been treating a very dear friend who was diagnosed with a very aggressive stage 4 cancer. After a complicated ten-hour operation in which part of his liver, pancreas, gallbladder, duodenum, jejunum and several nearby nodes were removed, the doctors told her that if she did not undergo chemotherapy she would have only three months to live, and with chemotherapy she would have 48 months to live.  She tried to do chemotherapy, but her body did not tolerate it and she had to stop it. But, by the grace of God and the alternative treatment of Dr. Calderón it has been more than a year since that diagnosis and now she is in full recovery.

Upon examination, Dr. Calderón told me that there was not a single node in my body that was swollen and that he believed I was in a state of remission, but obviously I needed to have the lab tests and images done for confirmation.

To the glory of God, the results of breast cancer markers and

carcinoembryonic antigen in my blood came back NEGATIVE!!

The breast ultrasound only shows a couple of benign cysts, the abdomen and pelvis complete normal in all my organs, except for having a fatty liver.

I am still waiting to see Dr. Calderón to see if I need other tests to confirm the radical remission, but for me, God has already made the miracle that we have been asking for.

Psalm 34:5-6 NLT says, "Those who seek His help will be beaming with joy;

no shadow of shame will darken their faces. In my desperation I prayed,

and the Lord heard me; saved me from all my difficulties"

Thank you infinitely to my Heavenly Father, thank you all for your love and your prayers, I love you immensely, I will be forever grateful.

Claudia.
